People Who prefer the older packagings(Liner Notes) , Collectors, and Hardcore fans. Or if your talking about Vinyl, Some people prefer crackling and popping, because it seems more authentic to them. It all just depends on what your used to.
There is no set answer to this question - it is sort of like asking "How long is a piece of string?" Usually, albums these days are over 30 minutes, but there have been many exceptions to this rule. Punk and hardcore bands have albums that are shorter (e.g. Off! [who supported the Red Hot Chili Peppers this year] have an album that is 16 minutes), and in the 1960s albums were often shorter (the Monkees had a 25-minute album) due to the limitations of records those days.
