Idealy any size 5a drumstick 'should' be the same size (if it's not a 'special' 5a, like one custom made for a particular artist or otherwise altered), regardless of the wood it's made out of (especially made by the same manufacturer). However, the weight may be different depending on which wood is used.
I use almost exclusively 1A drumsticks. Drumstick sizes vary between manufacturers, but Vic Firth's 1As are slightly thicker (.565" vs. .580") and significantly longer (16" vs. 16 13/16") than your standard 5A drumstick. I'm sure at some point in the past drumstick sizing nomenclature made some sort of sense, but with all of the different varieties and naming conventions you kind of just have to test to see which you like best.
5AN drumsticks have a nylon tip whereas 5A drumsticks do not.

The GCF is 5a.
5a times 5a would equal 25a^2.
5a = a + a + a + a + a
5a = -5a + 5Add 5a to each side:10a = 5Divide each side by 10:a = 5/10 = 1/2
(5a)^2 or a^2+10a+25
5a or 4a squared
30-5a = 25
It is: 5a2
6b-5a = 1
