The folk band known as The Highwaymen have issued 9 albums. The group broke up in 1964 and then got back together for a few reunion shows and benefit concerts.
The Highwaymen were famous for their country music, particularly the song, "Michael," which sold over a million copies. Starting in 1958, he group originally included Dave Fisher, Steve Trott, Bob Burnett, Steve Butts, and Chan Daniels. Later members were Gil Robbins and Johann Helton. It broke up in 1964.
