I'm sorry about my last answer for this question. I was partly right, and partly wrong: Right: Freddie did have growing weakness of the body, which means by 1990 he could barely stand, and by 1991- by his last few days on Earth- he became bedridden. He also had growing loss of sight (Which is normal before dying). Exhaustion must've also accompanied him, too. Maybe he had symptoms of a cold (Well, I only say this because I saw a YouTube video of the making of "I'm Going Slightly Mad." He sneezed at 4:09 (four minutes, nine seconds). Look for it, I guess.) Also, in his last few days, he could only have fruit and fruit juices. He was agitated, too. Wrong: Okay, he did have "mild fits", but they weren't coughing fits; they were severe anxiety attacks. I read an exert on Jim Hutton's "Mercury & Me." Someone named Joe- a friend of Freddie's- had to pin him down on his bed whenever this happened. Well, I'm Lauren, and I was wrong about his symptoms before. Have a nice day.
Freddie Mercury must have been HIV + for many years before he found out. He actually found out he had aids in 1987. So he was not actually sick as in showing symptoms, at the Wembley concert. He did not get really sick for a few years after that.
No, Freddie has AIDS; he later died when he caught pneumonia. (AIDS kills your immune system) RIP Freddie <3
Freddie Mercury died of bronchopneumonia brought on by AIDS, only one day after he anounnced that "Yes, I do have AIDS."
Jim Hutton died in 1979. 3 days after his 45th birthday. Correction: Jim Hutton died Jan 1, 2010. He did not die of AIDS. He was 60yrs. old.

I dont know but Jim Hutton did not give Aids to Freddie Mercury, Freddie gave it to Jim. Jim is still alive and Freddie died in 1991
There is no accepted cure for aids. Several things will alleviate some symptoms and there have been drugs developed that will prolong life, but basically aids is incurable.
