"Red Rubber Ball" was created in 1966 by The Cyrkle, an American pop rock band.
Professional players usually glue their own special rubbers on each side of the racket and different rubbers have different effects on the ball. Its regulation to have a black rubber on one side of the racket and red on the other side so that the opponent can tell what kind of rubber the player hit the ball with. (Players usually inspect their opponents rackets before the match begins to determine what kind of rubber is used on each side of their racket)

A red rubber ball is typically round and made of rubber, used for bouncing and playing games. A green apple is a fruit that grows on trees, typically round in shape, has a sweet or tart flavor, and is edible. The main difference lies in their composition, purpose, and characteristics.
Ruthie on Half Haven gets the ball and you can get it from Ollie Scooper in the Shellton Pet Shop

Yes......unless you have a big red rubber ball.
A table tennis bat requires one of the sides to have a red rubber and the other to have a black rubber. A player is not required to have the same rubber on either side of the bat such that each side of the bat reacts differently. One side may be a high spin rubber while the other acts as an anti-spin. By making each side of the bat a different colour lets an opponent know how the rubber will react when hit off it.
Since 1 July 1986 the rules of table tennis state that one side of the racket shall be bright red and the other side black. This rule was introduced because of the increased use of "combination" rackets in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Players were using the same colour rubber on each side of their racket - but each side was a different type of rubber - and this made it very difficult for the opponent to know what type of spin was being imparted onto the ball.

You are allowed to use two different types of rubber on your racket which can change the spin on the ball. Knowing which is which, can help you adjust. You just have to pay attention which side you opponent is hitting with. Some will flip, and some do not. For more info about organized table tennis, go to usatt.org, the governing body for the US.
