You can obtain this information by going to www.collegeboard.com/splash/ and using the sites College MatchMaker search engine, or click on the related links section below to go directly to the site. You can research colleges and universities by name, or by programs of study, or by geographical location, size, or combinations of all etc. The site will provide you with a list of institutions based on your request. It will give you the schools background, accreditation, degree offerings, programs of study, entrance requirements, tuition and fees, athletic programs etc. and a link to each institutions official web page. Make sure the college or university has a regional accreditation (most important). Practice navigating this site. It will be well worth the time and effort.
Unlike sports, marching bands normally do NOT offer scholarships for talented players headed to college. (If you find one, let me know.) In marching band, it doesn't matter if one person is exceptionally gifted: if the whole band looks sloppy while one scholarship student looks excellent, they will still receive a bad rating or a bad response from the crowd. University bands also do not attend competitions, so the school would receive nothing in return for a marching band scholarship like they would for a talented basketball player, talented football player, etc. However, many universities offer music scholarships for music majors, minors, and other advanced musicians who audition for that university's music program. In addition, I'm sure drum corps (professional) bands may offer scholarships or other reprieves to exceptional players who cannot afford to pay the hefty fee.

There are 128 fully recognised Universities that offer upto PHD level awards. In addition to that, there are nearly 60 private expensive institutes in main cities that offer world class degrees (such as University of London External degrees, Sunderland University & many other UK universities qualifications through affiliations). Out of 128, 70 universities are state universities whereas rest of them are private universities but are fully recognised and the facilities they offer are equal to any state university (Higher Education Commission of Pakistan - HEC - gives that accreditation). It is interesting to note that recently 2 Pakistani universities have made in SUNDAY TIMES QS Top 500 Universities of the world (University of Lahore and National University of Sciences). Other well reputed private & public Universities include: Lahore University of Management Sciences LUMS (with annual research budget of $25 Million dollars), University of Karachi, Agha Khan University and GIK Institute, IBA Karachi, NED Karachi ..... In addition to that, there are regional campus (not affiliations but universities own campuses) of some world class Universities, such as Univeristy of Bradford. PS: Pakistan has many other institutes (nearly 1000) that claim to offer many degrees but they are not fully recognised so they have not been counted in the above.

There are several European universities that offer scholarships to US citizens. Some examples include the University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom, ETH Zurich in Switzerland, Sorbonne University in France, and the University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands. It is recommended to check the official websites of these universities for specific scholarship opportunities and eligibility criteria.

Yes, most often they do. You can find out more at the individual military academy websites.
Have a look at the universities in your area then I would suggest contacting them directly. Some scholarships may not be well-advertised and you may only find out about them by talking to someone directly.
