This is just my opion but the top five rock groups/singers not in the rock and roll hall of fame is rush,scriopions, dire straits, and stevey ray vaughn.
There is a vast range of vocal styles in Rock and Roll and there really is no predominant style. Rock singers may not technically be excellent singers (see Ozzy Osbourne) but have the voice that fits the style of the music.
