Mine dies when it's raining or wet outside. Every time I drive through a puddle, it quits and then takes a while to start. I've tried replacing the starter, distributor, coils, battery cables...I've even tried waterproofing the underside of the car where the starter sits. I've been told the spark plug wires may need to be replaced. Anybody know why this problem might be chronic to the Caprice Classic?
AnswerWELL IF IT ONLY STALLS WHEN COMING TO A STOP IT MEANS EATHER A BOOSTER CHECK VALVE OR A T.C.C. SILONOID (TORQUE CONVERTER CONTROLL)
AnswerIf the problem occurs mainly when it is raining, it is most likely your plug wires. I would replace the distributor cap, rotor and spark plug wires and I bet you will never have another problem. If you are looking for a quick fix that works pretty good, spray the crap out of the distributor cap and wires with WD-40. You will be good to go for awhile. VBD
AnswerI changed the fuel filter on mine and it improved. Sometimes that is what it is if it has not been changed in a while. Also, if that did not work, it could be the fuel pump, or just need a tune up.There are many different guitar stores (like Gibson) around the world where you can buy a classic guitar; however, these stores may not always be conveniently accessible, depending on the area where you live. You can go to websites like ClassicGuitars or GarysGuitars and find many different styles and makes of classic guitars.

Listening to music does not cause accidents, and NOT listening to music does not prevent accidents. Sometimes accidents will happen to you because of a mistake another driver makes. If you are the cause of an accident it is probably because of one of the following:You were too distracted or too fatigued to see or hear a threat and respond to it properly. You were driving too fast or violating some other safe driving rule.Something happened completely outside of your control. If you are listening to music that is too loud, or that causes you serious distraction while driving, then you are priming yourself for trouble.
The dimmer switch when turned just past high, turns on the interior lights. There are switches in the door opening that turns the lights off when the door is closed. Either one of these can cause the lights to stay on if they fail.

Your power steering has a problem. It could be a broken part, or you may need a whole new set-up.
I cant remember the exact name of it but you have two coil packs for your ignition under the hood. They warm up and malfunction then they work again when the car is cold. Change those coil packs and your car will run fine..
The 93 Caprice could be losing fuel pressure. Check the fuel filter and the pressure to see if the pump could be bad.
