Double bass. An instrument has the pitch higher as it's size gets smaller. Violin is very high pitched. Viola is more mellow. Cello suffices for a dramatic or romantic song. And double bass is a wonderful accomplisher for working in groups. Or that's just my opinion. Anyway double bass is your answer. Have fun :D
The lowest Clarinet is the BBb contrabass clarinet. It sounds one octave below the Bb Bass Clarinet, and two octaves below the standard Bb soprano clarinet. Experimental instruments have been built that sound even lower (BBBb octocontrabass and EEEb octocontraalto) but those were never mass produced or used in bands or orchestras

No, In fact it is a Tuba.
The double bass is the string instrument that produces the lowest sound. It is also the largest and lowest-pitched instrument in the violin family.
The Bass Clarinet should have the lowest pitch.. or if not the Bassoon
It's not the bass clarinet. The octocontrabass clarinet (also known as octo contrabass clarinet, octo contra bass clarinet, or subcontra bass clarinet) is the largest and lowest member of the clarinet family. It is pitched an octave below the contrabass clarinet, or three octaves lower than the standard B♭ soprano clarinet. The Guinness Book of World Records lists the octocontrabass clarinet as having the lowest range of any orchestral instrument, capable of playing B♭-1 concert pitch (the B♭ below the lowest note of the piano).
On the B-flat clarinet, a concert D is the lowest note.
