anything, my drum kit. any cheap drum kit will not be much above any other in quality, i don't have one but i'd suggest the CB drums starter kit, it is the nations favourite begginner drum kit as far as im aware.

We suggest the Gammon Drum Sets as a great way to start playing. They are affordable (starting under 300.00 with free shipping) and are complete full size adult sets with cymbals, stands, etc.

IGNORE THAT OTHER ANSWER READ THIS ANSWER:

ok listen everybody at toysrus.com there is a little drum set for $34.99 dollars.its called sound x electronic smi-pink.

The Pearl Export range is probably the best drum kit to start out on. Reason being, that they don't loose value as fast as other brands. But in the end, if your only looking for cheap, any will do - it's the skins you put on it that will make the difference. Other good cheap brands are Century and Dixon.

the best starter kit on the market today has to be the Mapex Tornado 2010 starter kit. But i would stay away from Gear 4 music that was my first kit and it lasted me half a year before bits started breaking. You could also try the Mapex Horizon HX Drum kit if you have a high budget that is the kit i have now and it is great with a set of paiste ST3 cymbals of and some Ahead 5A drumsticks.

I'd go with Yamaha... Half the price of Roland drums, with the same (sometimes better) features.

If your going to buy a drum set is ALWAYS important to ask the salesperson what kind of wood the drums are made out of. Birch, Maple, and Oak are all very good woods and are probably the best so if you are looking to get a drum set for cheap price make sure that it is made from good wood.

The cheapest drum set is on Best Buy and is approximately $200.00 for it's quality. A drum set can be found at a toy store for a cheap price also but it isn't good for professional use.

When should you get the drum set?

Type your answer here... first get a drum pad. only when you have practiced enough (10-18 months) and know your basics should you get a drum set. you need t know rhythm and have a sense of beat, as the beat shouldn't vary. like 1,2,1,3,1,2,1,3 but if you are not good at keeping something constant it will be like 1,2,1,3,1,2,2,1,3 or something like that. be good at what you do before getting a big, expensive drum set:)
