Entombed, Grave, Carnage and Bloodbath all sound like Dismember. These bands are all Swedish death metal and all use a characteristic buzzsaw distortion tone. Other less similar bands are Sacramentum, Runemagic and Unleashed. Less similar still are In Flames and Dissection.
that's a good question, but here are a few bands that i know of that have that kind of style, maybe this is one of them: death cab for cutie, the hives, locksley, the fratellis, the ting tings, MGMT, Weezer. These may not be that specific band but if you like that style i highly reccommend these bands.
its called hey cutie over there
Yes, there are other Christian bands like Pillar and Skillet, such as RED, Thousand Foot Crutch, and Disciple.
No, death metal is not for emo's such bands as "Hawthorne Heights" and "Madina Lake" are emo bands death metal is more advanced and for more hardcore people and FYI everyone Joe Gardner has an egg dick. It's pretty simple. Emo music wants to kill itself, death metal wants to kill other people (the more, and the more brutally, the better).
The Postal Service, The Decemberists, Sparklehorse, Keane, Built to Spill, Dashboard Confessional.
They have been my favorite band for the past 7 years!

Two of the songs towards the ending are Death Cab for Cutie songs - 'Transatlanticism' for sure and 'Here Comes the Rain Again' it sounds like

The history of punk is longer than emo. Punk started in the 1970's The Ramones which influenced other bands like The Clash The Sex Pistols and The Casualites to name a few popular ones. Most emo bands like My Chemical Romance and From First to last were influenced by bands like The Misfits other goth, heavy metal bands and punk.
There are many great death metal bands out there, it depends on the type you like. Not all death metal is the same. Some people like Morbid Angel, but I prefer Cannibal Corpse. I would recommend Cannibal Corpse, listen to "Evisceration Plague" or "Priests of Sodom" (songs). A good place to find what death metal bands you like would be to listen to Death FM, an online radio station. The listeners chose what is played. "Death" is an excellent band Deicide is good too
