Was Glenn Millers body ever found?

To this day no trace has ever been found of his body or the C-64 Norseman plane on which he was flying from England to Paris. It remains one of the most enduring mysteries of WWII and the history of popular music.

The UC-64A Norseman that disappeared with Glen Miller has not yet been found. The most recent clue to its fate surfaced in 2012 when the plane-spotting diary of a then 17 year old Richard Anderton written when he worked at an airfield in Woodley, Reading in 1944. An entry dated December 15, 1944 noted the sighting of a UC-64A type aircraft flying east of the airfield.

This hasn't led to the plane's discovery, but has discounted several other theories about what happened to it.
