Is slipknot religious

None of the band members have religions besides one of their older players being Catholic. The members don't like religion at all they even named a song Opium Of The People which lyrics speak of anti religion.

There are 9 members, Im sure they have many different religions, I believe Corey is catholic (I have no proof, I remember someone telling me that though). Also, does their religion matter? That shouldn't affect their music. If someone discovered that Bach was a satanist would his music be any worse?

Frontman Corey Taylor claims to be an avowed atheist, but retains a fascination for ghosts which he acknowledges is a contradiction. He is against organised religion but does not hold personal spiritual belief against anybody, as he tries to make plain in his recent book A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Heaven. The opinions of the rest of the band are not publicly known, although former member Donnie Steele left because of his Christian faith, which would suggest that the other band members are also religious sceptics.
