It depends on the song. If a song promotes hatred, violence, fornication, and anti-religious beliefs, then that song could be called "music of the devil." If it promotes respect, love, peace, faith, equality, and kindness, then it is not. Some people believe that it is otherwise, because it promotes freedom and non-conformist values. I think Metal music is by far more devilish than Rock Music.
The Bible does mention stringed instruments and cymbals praising the glory of the Lord. You could call that a whole lot of purposeful racket! It is true that a lot of "rock" music in the culture does not glorify God but there is still a lot of rock music which does glorify him.
Why does everyone just assume that rock is the devils music? Maybe some people sing about the devil or whatever but really I see no difference between rock or any other music. If rock influences people, that's their problem because rap does the same exact thing. All rap talks about now or days is drinking and smoking.
However, there also exists Satanist (meaning it worships Satan, the devil) rock, metal and/or screamo. However, it isn't healthy to generalize and say that all rock is so because it really isn't. On the contrary, most of the best rock is Christian.
"New" music have often been considered evil, it's been like that for hundreds of years. Jazz was "evil", Blues was "evil". I've even met people who've considered Gospel "evil". "Can't be right to have so much fun in Church". Now, if you look at the lyrics, well, there are questionable lyrics set to just about any pitch or rhythm. Maybe a tiny bit more in heavy metal. Another way to look at is that texts are texts, stories. And we are surrounded by evil stories. TV-series like "Dexter", "Game of thrones" etc aren't all nice either. If that is OK to show and watch, then most of heavy metal aren't any worse.
Not really, because there are some "screamo" that isn't demented. No, Screamo is a type of music that anyone can listen to.
No, Avenged Sevenfold really does not worship the devil.
They're called fans of Heavy Metal? Don't really know what you're expecting it to be.
There really aren't any colours to represent Heavy Metal music. Nonconformity has always been one major aspect of the Metal scene, and colour coding it is absolutely contrary to this.
Their music features elements from classical music and neo-classical metal, to symphonic metal and gothic metal.

Yes, Rock and Roll is the work of the Devil. No I wouldn't say Rock and Roll is devillish, music like death metal and heavy metal have satanic qualities.
No, Avenged Sevenfold really does not worship the devil.
Heavy Metal has associations to the Devil.
his infernal majesty means their love to metal music ,the death, and the devil
No. Not all bands that have heavy metal music are devil worshippers. They express they're emotions through music like many singers and song writters do. Some of the slipknot band members lived a hard life. So they express they're emotions in music.
