In my opinion this song is about the world and people... Trying to heal the world is the best thing human can ever do... Michael was doing everything he could to help millions of sick children in the world... I think God gives a possibility to some people and then they have to decide how they're going to use it. And Michael did it so good... He spent all his talent, money, love, songs, dance.... to the all nations in the world.
And well, yes, it's a patriotic song as well... it makes you feel and see what the world really needs... but, unfortunately not many people can really see or feel it... that's why world is going to the wrong way...
