Janet Jackson is Queen of Pop because she has talent on Madonna. Madonna sold more records indeed, but when it comes down to raw talent, and performance worthy artist-ship, Janet has the musical edge over Madonna. Madonna is a great artist but she's a product artist; Janet actually has the talent that propelled her to stardom-sorry people. Britney Spears is the reigning Princess of Pop indeed-sorry Lady GaGa; she just has the shock factor. Prince is music royalty as well but he has multiple musical genres so he's just a music sovereign much like Sade is. Prince of pop would most likely be Justin Timberlake, but if Justin Beiber can prove his dominance overtime in this illustrious genre this could change.

Janet is the Queen of Pop sorry; I do know of Madonna's sales record and it's superior to Janet's. But considering talent, artistry, ability to perform, and writing ability Janet has the helm. We can accept that or not but guess what; it's all true.

Both are hold the Queen of pop status; both Janet and Madonna. This is better than fighting on who is the QOP. Both of them made huge strides in the genera of pop. So it's better to say that both of these talented ladies are the QOP.

Janet & Madonna no longer hold the crown to Queen of Pop anymore. Whoever did back in the 90s is up to you guys, but Britney is without a doubt the Queen of the thousands, as Billboard, MTV, and loads of other stars state her as that. Janet & Madonna haven't done enough or hardly anything really to be rightfully Queen of the 21st century. Britney on the other hand has been unstoppable throughout the thousands. Sales have been through the roof, she's had amazing performances, mostly at VMA's that have gone down as iconic moments of all time at the VMAs. MTV & Teen Choice even admit it themselves that Britney shaped VMA & TCA into what it is now. She's defined pop music, and modern day pop culture. She's a massive trendsetter, music wise. Britney's Blackout was ahead of its time. It was pure electro pop, which came out in 07. Britney is Queen.

Britney Spears is officially the best selling female artist of the entire decade. She defined Pop Music and pop culture of the entire thousands. She became an icon in just her second year, if not even her first year when bringing out the most iconic video by a female artist... Baby One More Time. Britney received a star on the walk of fame in less then 5 years after her first single Baby One More Time was released. That also made Britney the youngest female artist to ever receive a star on the walk of fame. She soon went on to sell over 100 million records in under a decade in an era where downloading music illegally was more common then it was back in Madonna & Janet Jackson's prime. Britney is the only female artist to have six debut number one albums, and have seven albums debut in the top two spots on the Billboard Hot 200 Chart.

Britney took performance art and entertainment to a whole new level throughout her career continuously outdoing herself. Her MTV VMA performances are recognised as her most iconic of her career. In 2000 she hit the stage in a MJ inspired black sparkly suit and hat that soon lead her stripping into a skin tight coloured sparkly outfit shocking the audience as she broke into her signature dance moves to one of her most famous hits, Oops!... I Did It Again. The performance was Britney's way of expressing that she was "not a girl" any more and wanted to express herself as a confident, fearless, free and sexy young woman. The controversial performances continued the next year in 2001 where Britney raised the bar performing with a python around her neck dressed in an inspired belly dancing outfit to her raunchy hit "Slave 4 You" with a lion and rainforest set on stage. In 2003 Britney returned a year later defining pop art and pop history all over again with the Queen of the 20th century, Madonna! They both shared an unexpected kiss on stage that has become one of the most memorable and iconic moments of all VMA & Pop history.

She has wowed at least 8 boys in the past 2 school years. Without a cover up-just being herself. She is amazingly sympathetic and absolutely loves Michael. She also is psychic: she can talk to Anne Frank, and she RESPONDS nature-isticly.
