The Army Doctor Who measured his height wrote down 6 feet, 1/2 inch. He was measured with his boots at that height, so his actual height was about 5' 11 3/4" (182 cm).

The figure most quoted during his early appearances was 6 feet, 1 inch (184 cm).

Elvis Presley's height was actually 5'11 1/2 believe it or not. He gives the impression of being taller. He was measured in the Army in 1958 at 6'0 1/2, but had Army boots on at the time which would have gave him about an inch extra. His desired stage height was 6'2 and he would get there with 2 inch heels on his boots in the 70's, so he did appear to be quite tall. Elvis' 70's wardrobe designer Bill Belew confirmed the fact the King was 5'11 1/2 in a interview some years ago
