It all depends on the intended bitrate of the songs to be put on the CD, and the lengths of them. But a CD will be full when one of 2 limits is reached: # the 700mb is full # the disc is 70-80 minutes of audio. But usually you only have to worry about 70-80 minute limitation. So only 70-80 minutes of songs can be put on a cd. So if the average song length is 4 minutes, about 15-20 songs.

MP3 is an audio compression file format. Music CDs you purchase from the store come in a wav format. If you use a CD Ripper like Express Rip, you can then save these songs onto your computer in an mp3 file format. Then you can use an audio CD burning program, like Express Burn, to create a music CD with MP3 file formats. Notice that your original CD will only hold about 12-15 songs and your new mp3 CD will hold around 100 songs. That is one of the many advantages of using an mp3 format.
Hello, If you insert the CD into your computer and open Windows Media Player, select Burn CD, and OK. You do this if you want to insert the songs on the CD to your computer. If you want to delete them and put other songs in the CD instead, you have to make sure the CD is CD-R (re-writeable). Goodluck, Silent Breeze
