If a note is on a different partial (From F in 1st to G in 4th, from Bb in 1st to C in T1 or 6th) then you merely do a lip slur, which is "blowing through" the note and making a quick motion of the slide. If they are on the same partial (From G in 4th to A in 2nd) then you will want to tongue the note with a "Dah." The first note of a slurred or legato musical phrase should ALWAYS be tongued with a "Tah" and all subsequential notes should be "Dah." Make sure and have a continuous airflow. If you were to not tongue two notes that are on the same partial, you would result in a glissando.

By simply blowing through the notes rather than blow a single blow for each note.

Doesn't a slur mean you play it all legato? I think it does. It's like a tie but the notes are different. :D
