8/1/09 - Using a funnel carefully pour 1 Gallon of Antifreeze & 1 Gallon of Distilled water into radiator reservoir on passenger side of engine compartment by the firewall. It is make of semi-clear plastic, and has a black cap on it. Remove the upper radiator hose on the passenger side and carefully pour 1 Gallon of Antifreeze and 1 Gallon of Distilled water into it using a funnel. The reason you fill it from both places is that the thermostat does not allow water into the radiator or all of the engine block. Be sure to check the temperature and coolant level after driving the vehicle. Add coolant to the radiator reservoir as needed.
the 88 has a 'closed system'... you fill it through the overflow resevior....
In an emergency only, water doesn't provide the freezing and boiling protection of antifreeze. Also it doesn't have the lubricants and antirust additives for the water pump, radiator, etc...
You add the fluid down the dipstick tube.
right on the back of the compressor. low side top, high side under it
behind the dash on the passenger side. Not worth the hassle -- there are forums that teach you to change your air compressor for the AC into an air compressor - fill tires, rafts, beds etc! google it!
Yes, but you wouldn't want to do that, 90 is renix, and it has the older style radiator with the reservoir to fill it, where as your 98 has a filler cap, which eliminates air bubbles that occur from the reservoir.

where is the fill tube for the transmission on a 2001 jeep grand cherokee
The fill plug is on the center of the rear of the transfer case.
Disconnect a hose and fill it through the hose. Possibly the one to the water pump; that should be pretty accessible.
Fill it to within4 inches of the top and you will be good.
The fill plug is in the middle of the cover on the center of the axle.

The radiator drain plug should be located on the bottom of the radiator on the passenger side. Open that, let the old coolant flow into a drain pan, replace the drain plug once the coolant is out and the radiator is flushed, then fill it up through the radiator cap.
Open windshield washer reservoir, add fluid, close reservoir...
Under the hood towards the back of the engine is the trans dipstick tube. You use this tube and a funnel to fill the trans.
