You will need to obtain a "pickup" device that mounts to the lower part (below the bridge) of the strings. When connected to an amp, that device then acts much like a microphone and transmits those sounds into amplified sounds. Otherwise you will have to use a microphone to amplify it. You can also buy pickups for accoustic Guitars that fit in the sound hole.

How To Plug Guitar into Amp

1. Make sure the volume on the guitar is all the way down. Usually that's the button closest to the pickups. Turn that all the way off.

2. Plug your guitar into the jack socket using the 1/4 inch cable. If you have turned the volume off on the amp first, then you will not hear a buzzing sound.

If you do these two instructions in the wrong order, and you do not turn the volume off on the guitar and amp before you do anything, you will hear a big buzz and a bunch of crackling. If your amp is on really loud you could blow out your speaker. So make sure to do it in the right order.

Plug one end of the patch cord into the guitar and the other end into the amplifier. If it sounds bad or static-y, try using a different patch cord.

How much cash would I get for Grand Theft Auto IV Assassin's Creed Lost Planet and Guitar Hero 2 with Guitar at Gamestop?

Well, first of all, It depends if you're talking used or not. And it also depends if you mean just guitar hero 2 game or guitar hero 2 with the guitar. I am guessing both used with guitar. Together, the 2 video games are probably $50-$90 if used. If not used, you're talking $90-$160. Well, first of all, It depends if you're talking used or not.
