I don't see much difference at all. But, to let you know Limewire screwed up my freind's computer, and I haven't had any problems with Frostwire. No, frostwire screwed up my computer and its impossibe to delete!!! It depends on the version of Limewire that you compare to frostwire. Frostwire has many features of Limewire Pro such as full time turbo charged downloads. Limewire has two versions the free version and the paid version with additional features while Frostwire only has a free version. Frostwire has a chat feature which both versions of Limewire lack but Limewire has an instant messenger.

I have about a 4-5 year old computer that runs pretty slow and I don't have Frostwire. I did try it once and it just slowed it down more. But if you have a fast computer, Frostwire won't even slow it down a bit. Keepvid.com, you enter the link to the Youtube video of the song, and you download the video. You can either convert into a video or a sound file. I've done this before and it keeps the audio and video like where it was when you saw it on Youtube. And there are other programs like Keepvid.com, but I don't recommend getting the AVS Youtube Video Downloader. But you can always try to see if it works on your computer. Hope this is helpful!

Limewire is alright but the free edition is not "turbo charged". Frostwire is an open-source, community developed version of the turbo-charged version of limewire that is free. So when it comes to connections, frostwire can have much faster download speeds with more connections. ive had limewire for a long time and it was working good for me, but everyone told me frostwire was better, so i tried it, but it made my computer run slower and i did not get the results i got on limewire. it depends which one works better on your computer.

Frostwire is peer to peer (P2P) software that creates a network connecting your computer to other people's computers and other people are connecting your computer. To download you are using the other computers power and bandwidth. If the other computer is not connected to the Internet and the FrostWire network then the songs from that computer will not be downloading but will be held in a queue ready to download whenever a connection is made.
