Boss uses buffered bypass, not true bypass.
I know a least on most songs Padge uses the Boss Metal Core
It fits actually like really perfect. And you can still get 2 other pedals in there :)
That;s a bit of an open question, with very few clues to go on. When trying to find why something isn't working, start by ruling out everything possilble. Start with the PSU. The PSU input on the 707 is a slightly odd shape and this causes issues with some 707s, including intermittent power offs and failure to power up. I had the same problem. If you replace the PSU make sure the polarity and Voltage are the same or you could do permanent damage. A good source is Boss guitar pedals, they are usually the same as Boss is also Roland. If this isn't the problem then ask on a music forum such as gearslutz.com, you're more likely to find a knowledgeable owner that on wiki answers
I'm not 100% sure on this, but i know he uses mainly boss pedals...., and that on the "all hope is gone" album he uses Boss metal zone, and MD-2 mega distortion. He may use others, but I'm pretty sure he uses these two.I'm not 100% sure on this, but i know he uses mainly boss pedals...., and that on the "all hope is gone" album he uses Boss metal zone, and MD-2 mega distortion. You can connect any pedals of any brand. Its best if you seperate single pedals away from multi pedals.
Boss guitar pedals can be purchased from Boss' official site as well as their stores. They can also be purchased from official resellers such as Walmart or Amazon.
Boss uses buffered bypass, not true bypass.
The most famous, meaning classic, brands that make distortion pedals are BOSS, Ibanez, EHX and ProCo. This does not mean that they are the best. There are a bunch of lesser known distortion pedals that are just as good.
There are a whole slew of acoustic simulator pedals out there. You're best bet would be the Boss line of AC pedals. The AC-2 and AC-3 by Boss are pretty much as standard as you can get for acoustic stompboxes.
Modulation and time based effect pedals
Boss DD-7

If you're just comparing boss pedals, its not a matter of quality over each other, its what kind of pedal your looking for. Boss has a wide range of pedals for different effects and styles. You should by them based on what they do, not how well they do it compared to another boss pedal because they're all made specifically for different styles of music. I personally have an MT-2 and a TU-2 and I love them both.
