That is under dispute. However, the evidence toward the affirmative is so overwhelming that the answer might as well be yes.
Whether or not their relationship was sexual or not is hard to prove. However, looking at their incredible closeness and love for one another, not to mention how sexually curious they both were, the idea of a sexual relationship between the two is very likely.
Or you could just look at the various quotes that have been collected on this topic, available simply by searching for "John Lennon and Paul McCartney love quotes," or anything along those lines. (I won't put all of it here because there's far too much and it's rather easy to find elsewhere at any rate.)
As for the romantic side of their relationship:

(Again, if you want quotes, they are easily found.)
No. Brian Epstein was in love with John Lennon, and there was speculation that they may have had one or more encounters. Lennon always denied it: "It was never consummated, but we did have a pretty intense relationship", he told Playboy in 1980. (Lennon told slightly different stories to Beatles biographer Hunter Davies, and boyhood friend Peter Shotton, about a holiday he and Epstein took together in 1963.)
John Lennon did cheat on Yoko Ono at a party right in front of her.
John didn't cheat on Yoko. It was Yoko who set him up with their assistant May Pang when they separated for 18 months. He then went back to Yoko.

Actually, John did have a one night stand and in Yoko's presence. He was drunk and took a woman into his friends bedroom while Yoko was left sitting on the couch. It was so loud, the host of the party had to turn on some music but it still didn't drowned them out. That was just before their separation.
