I don't know what the CD is called, but the artist is Steve Goodman. The album is called "No Big Surprise: The Steve Goodman Anthology."
I don't believe he did, in actuality. Many remember his portrayal of Benny Goodman on screen. I think the piano was his medium. What's worthy of note is that Steve Allen was a prolific songwriter. Jerry Vale's big hit in 1957 was: Pretend You Don't See Her.
You are a fool, Steve is well known for his spiritual and reflective nature in his later years. Although Steve has had his problems in life; he has also been" AMAZING" in his strength to overcome some of the darkest afflictions so common in rock n roll. Steve is an inspiration to many people for his example of recovery and his well known and respected gentel nature. He is an outstanding human and to ask this question makes me wonder why you would think such an arbitrary thing about a great gentleman such as Steve Tyler.
Steve has only had one wife, Kimberly ("Kim"), and the marriage lasted many years (perhaps around 30 years?). Sadly, they separated earlier this year (2012), and appear to be headed to an amicable divorce.
Steve Perry the lead singer of the band at the time. Also Neal Schon helped compose it. It premeried in 1980 as a Hit Single. GOOD JOB JOURNEY AMAZING SONG

Boy, this question brings back memories! I remember seeing Jim Post there in the on-campus Amazing Grace back in '74. It was a very intimate and awesome performance. After that they moved to the Main Street area of Evanston. I remember seeing James Taylor's brother perform there. I dug around and found this comprehensive pdf http://www.library.northwestern.edu/archives/findingaids/Amazingrace.pdf you may want to download. I spent all my Babysitting money on the Amazing Grace Coffee House. I saw amazing performers there. Here's a list I recall: Odetta (I paid about 75 cents to see her), Steve Goodman, John Prine, Livingston Taylor, Sam Leopold, Kenny Bloom, Jim Post, Emmylou Harris, Redwood Landing, and more, but that's all I recall at the moment. It was an amazing place for teens since you could hear incredible performers/musicians and age didn't matter since they didn't serve alcohol. I wish that my 16 year old had a place like this to go. It was one of my fondest memories of childhood. It was a small ranchlike house right on the Northwestern campus and off the lakefront in Evanston. I just recall I was there pretty much every weekend and got all my friends hooked on it. I'm still playing guitar and I owe my interest to the Amazing Grace Coffee House. I hope that someone can put a clip on you tube. It would be great!
