On this specific vehicle, it is located under the vehicle on the passenger side, in the rear bottom of the motor, near the bellhousing. It is much easier to see it if you remove the starter. Actually, it will be a lot easier to replace if you remove the starter. Carefully remove the 3 pin connector so that it doesn't break. Then remove the bolt holding the connector and twist the sensor as you pull it out. Hope this helps.
not without all wiring harnesses and computers. also, the fuel systems are different i think...
The O2 sensor is located on the exhaust, most Cherokee's have 2 exhaust banks, so there should be one on each side of the engine. Find a wrench to fit it and screw it out, there should be an electrical connection running to it so find where it connects and disconnect it. Reverse for installation.
Top driver side of the bell housing.
On a 1990 Jeep Wrangler, the IAT sensor is located on the intake manifold. It is a gray, two-wire system situated on the front of the manifold.
Inside the distributor
it is on the top side of the bell housing on the drivers side
No crank sensor on a 1990, only the pickup plate (cam sensor) in the distributor. how about a 1991?
It doesn't have a crank sensor. It only has a distributor pick up plate (cam sensor).
It is located on the back side of the engine, where the distributor originally went.
it does not have a crank position sensor. it uses the ignition control module as a crank sensor. it is in the distributor cap
It doesn't have a crank sensor. It only has the "pick up plate" in the distributor.
You want to look on the intake manifold on the Jeep Wrangler.
The B2600i does not use a crank angle sensor, it uses a hall effect sensor located inside the distributor to time the engine based off of the camshaft. See the attached link for additional information. K6 Mazdatruckin.com
I have a 1992 Pontiac Sunbird with 2.0 four cylinder in it, just found the crank sensor on it, to replace it. It is located on the FRONT side of the engine, below exhaust manifold and just above the A/C compressor. HOPE THIS HELPS SOMEONE ELSE!
