The structure of music can be the phases, so how many phases there are and whether they are repeated or not.

in the Classical Music there are phases repeated but they are altered slightly throughout the piece or movement. Phrases are made up of motives.

If it is a longer classical piece such as a symphony, new motives (musical ideas) are often introduced and then altered, often contrasting or complementing earlier motives.

This does however, vary depending on the type of classical piece. Classical music has evolved drastically over time, and after Beethoven the structure of most classical music was completely changed. Traditionally (as in before Beethoven) Most classical music began with a quickly paced allegretto movement, then a slower moderato or perhaps largo movement, and then another allegretto.

In simpler terms: slow, fast, slow.
