Andrea Amati; the Italian inventor; is the one created what we know as the modern violin in 1580.The violin, much like other instrumental pieces such as the piano, has been around for a long, long time. And of course since it's such an old piece, many people have gone and claimed that they were the inventors of it, although this is true in a few cases. The modern violin that we know today is the one that deserves the most credit.Although many people have contributed to the invention of the violin, Andrea Amati was known for making the first violin that resembles the modern violin (i.e. four strings).
