The Sony PlayStation was one of the most popular video game systems of the '90s. The founding of the system was when Sony entered a deal with Nintendo to make a CD attachment for the SNES. The project did not work out and the PlayStation was born out of it.
No you can not and it would not work anymore than a PS3 game could be played in a PC because it is software written to be run in a PS3 not a PC
nope Sony made Playstation and now make the PS Vita, PSP, PS2 and PS3
Because Play Station was the original game console and it was named that because the creators of it worked at a station, and they decided to name it with a play - because you play it... so therefor play station! and then they decided to add new features to make a playstation two and even more features to play station 3
There is an option on the xmb menu, under the playstation network section, that says sign up :)
