Metal absorbs quite a bit of solar radiation on sunny days. This builds up heat in the interior of the building, turning it into an oven. This is not unlike a car parked in the sun. The temperature inside of the car can quickly rise to dangerous levels.

There are many ways for one to find the nearest Radio Shack locations. One way is to look in the yellow pages of the phone book for Radio Shack, and see the address there. If there are none in the phone book, look for them using the store locator on the Radio Shack website.
I would buy one at Amazon or Radio Shack. I think Amazon will have the best price, but Radio Shack will have people that can help you.
