The geese in Canada are one of the most common birds. However, they become a symbol of Canada not for this reason , but because they represents the unity of its people. It is well known fact that the goose never leaves one of its own kind behind. Those birds are so faitfull to each-other that during the migrations, if any of them fall down and get injured , some birds will stay behind untill the full recovery or the death of the injured one.

Canadian Geese are not particularly important to Canada, at least not any more than Snow Geese or other geese we used to fill our cooking pots and feather our beds with.
