Truman Capote and his friends had befriended a tourist while Capote was a writer in New York. He and his friends asked the tourist if he wanted to get something to eat for breakfast. The tourist suggested "breakfast at Tiffany's" because it was the only place in New York that he knew. Tiffany's, if you didn't know, is a high-class/super-rich jewelry store. The phrase "Breakfast at Tiffany's" was just what I explained and was an inside joke for Capote and his friends.
