There, she was captured and tortured and the last screenshot showed her bound to a chair with a swollen eye and bloodied face. In the season 7 premiere Tony and McGee deliberately get captured to save her. Gibbs takes down the camp and Ziva becomes an official NCIS agent back in DC.
