Most of the time, Fox News does not critique GOP candidates, since the network is identified with the Republican party and promotes Republican views. But there are two kinds of people on Fox News-- opinion commentators (most of whom tend to lean pro-Republican, and praise Republican ideas); and news anchors, who try to be objective and keep opinion out of their reporting. Thus, Shep Smith or Bret Baier or even Chris Wallace would at times critique a Republican candidate who is in the news, since reporting the news (even about Republicans) is part of their job, and they take it seriously.

Is Politico.com partisan?

They seem to strike a very far right stance. Very typical of most right wing fake news website, especially compared to MSNBC who is fairly middle of the road and Fox , which is just a right wing propaganda wing of the GOP.

Is Fox News a National Security threat?

Well known for spreading dis-information concerning global climate change, unsubstantiated rumors/stories with a negative slant on any and all Democrats and liberal/progressive ideas. Pro Republican in the extreme. Basically a shill for politically slanted news stories promoting GOP ideals or candidates, and smearing liberal/green movement/Democratic ideals or initiatives. A hindrance to economic progress and jobs creation (The Green Initiative has already created thousands and thousands of jobs). Pollution and CFI's would increase if all of their ideals were followed as if best for America. Hence, if Global Warming is a threat to all life on the planet, and the EPA were crippled to the point of being ineffective (as Fox News puppeteers would like), they would be promoting an anti-climate and anti- life agenda. Divisive and a hindrance to general progress, only aiding wealthy groups and big business desires (which are decidedly anti-labor and anti-education). They seem to exist to foment the public's mistrust of at least half of the lawmakers and leaders in the United States. Disruptive to America being "One Nation", you have to take sides to agree or disagree with their hate-filled views. Ruled by Big Money which has always been pro Conservative and anti-liberal. Should be downgraded to a "talk show and editorial channel". News makes up less than half of their programming. In short, being only pro-wealth and pro-GOP, they only represent 10% of America's population. If you aren't rich, they only want your vote for all GOP candidates. Since the GOP wants all government aid program's budgets slashed to the bone, they are an enemy to everyone middle class or lower, the elderly will suffer if Social Security is privatized, poor children will get under funded educations, in effect, the majority of American's are not served by Fox News' political agenda. GOP should be classified a threat, as well.

Why is gop newsworthy?

GOP is the abbreviation for the Republican Party (it stands for Grand Old Party). Republicans are often newsworthy, because they have important senators and representatives who make news or say controversial things: among the recent examples of Republicans who have gotten extensive media coverage are former governor of Alaska and frequent pundit Sarah Palin, current Senator from Texas Ted Cruz, John Boehner (Republican Speaker of the House of Representatives), congressman Paul Ryan of Wisconsin, and New Jersey Governor Chris Christie. Sometimes, the president is a Republican (former President Bush, for example) and the media always cover what the president is saying and doing. Republicans dominate talk radio, they dominate Fox News, and they dominate the Tea Party, all of which guarantees the GOP receives a lot of media coverage.

Did Mike Huckabee serve in the military?

Mike Huckabee (born 24 August 1955) the 44th governor of Arkansas, conservative commentator for FOX NEWS, and repeated potential GOP presidential candidate, did not serve in the military. Describing himself as a 'foodaholic,' Huckabee was overweight for much of his life, and like many leading GOP conservative politicians, there is no record of any interest by Huckabee in enlisting in the military.

What are the qualities that make good journalism?

Do you mean in the US or around the world? And if in the US, do you mean on cable or network? And if on network, are we talking MSNBC or Fox News Channel? And if on MSNBC, are we talking with, or without political contributions to the democratic party? Furthermore, if we're talking Fox News Channel, are we still assuming the four biggest prospects for GOP presidential nominees still get pay stubs from Rupert Murdoch? Get back to me and I'll let you know.
