Johnny and ponyboy differ from dally because johnny and ponyboy aren't "tuff" like dally is. Dally has a mean and rough look to him unlike pony and johnny, and dally's eyes show that he has seeen things no other person has.
nobody died WITH johnny cade, although ponyboy and dally got burned pretty bad. At the end though dally does die because after johnny dies in the hospital, dally takes it very hard because johnny was the only thing/person dally actually loved, so dally robbed a store and when the police came after him he used his fake gun to pretend to shoot at them so the police shot Dallas Winston dead on the ground.
Back to the hospital to see Johnny, and give him the news that they won the rumble.
In "The Outsiders", Dally sends Ponyboy and Johnny away once they kill Bob, a soc. He sends them to an old, abandoned church in Windrixville. I think this is what you mean. If you mean what place in Windrixville, then he arrived after everything was all clear and the cops believed Ponyboy and Johnny were headed for Texas. He stole a car and drove them to a Dairy Queen and they had lunch.
Johnny gets hurt in the outsiders by coming back to the church after going out to Dairy Queen. The church has caught on fire by accident, and some of the children from the picnic was in there, so with out thinking twice, Johnny and Ponyboy went in to get the kids. The kids were yeeted(thrown) out the window. Then, the roof started caving in, so Johnny pushed Ponyboy out and he was too late, and got hit by a flaming log thing.

Basically, Ponyboy takes many kicks to the head, which wasn't a major problem. After, the Socs retreat (The greasers win, yay!) and Ponyboy and Darry go to the hospital in time to see johny die
No, Dallas Winston could never be a hero. He didn't want to save the children who were about to be burned alive. He was madwhen Ponyboy and Johnny went in the burning church to help. Dally was being a friend when he helped Pony and Johnny out of the burning building.
The Outsiders is about a boy named Ponyboy Curtis and his gang. They are the greasers and they live on the east side of town on the "wrong side of the tracks." The Socs are the rich kids that live on the other side and they hate each other. The greasers are the poor kids with long greasy hair. When one of the greasers dies they get in a fight and it gets rough. At the end of the movie a greaser named Dally dies as well and Ponyboy has to cope with the loss. This is one of my favorite movies of all time.
Ponyboy is sensitive since when Johnny, his best friend, died he was scarred and wouldn't believe it. Also when he was at the church he had a mental breakdown which shows his sensitivity because he started crying. Greasers would do anything to prevent themselves from crying. Moreover, Ponyboy also shows he is since when Darry hit him he ran away admitting he was sad and hurt. Lastly, he is also sensitive because when Dally scram at Johhny because Johnny asked about his parents Pony felt so bad for Johnny he almost broke into tears. Welcome :)
A few similarities between the movie and book are that the movie still has the complete Greaser gang (Ponyboy, Johnny, Sodapop, Darry, Dally, Two-Bit, and Steve) and also Johnny and Dally still die in the movie but the movie begins with Johnny and Pony following Dally around town.when johnny kills bob and the rumble Now a few differences are that they dont have the court scene, Darry doesn't slap Pony he pushes him down; Pony isn't sick after Johnny and Dally die; the movie doesn't mention Mickey Mouse, (Soda's horse); Sodapop and Dally aren't blonds like they are in the book, instead they are brunettes; the church that Ponyboy and Johnny run away to isn't on a hill; when the church catches on fire pony and johnny doesn't save the kids in a hall way; randy doesn't visit Ponyboy after the rumble the book is a lot better than the movie because there is no detail left out and in the movie there's a lot . I have like 37 differences 1 is that the movie never mentions sodapops girl friend. They don't do acrobatic stuff off the porch. Ponyboy didn't fall asleep on Johnny's lap while riding the train. In the book Soda gives Ponyboy money (a check) Well in the book he didn't. Johnny never made a joke about Jerry about how fat he was. They mention that Marcia was from the south side instead of west side. At the beggining of the movie they never chased after those kids and picked on them in the book. Also the book was written in ponyboy's perspective and the movie was not the movie was written in everyone's perspective.
Dallas Winston (Dally) - Dallas Winston is the toughest from all of the greasers. He grew up in New Yorkand was in some of the toughest and scariest gangs. He is the main troublemaker in this whole book and has been in and out of jail quite a few times since he was just 10 years old. He is the only member in the Greasers whose hair isn't greased, and has blond hair that is so light, it could be white. He has had a very hard life and hasn't been brought up properly. He doesn't have any respect for the law, and gets drunk very often. He lies, cheats, steals, robs, and even jumps little children. Nobody messes with him because he is as tough as he looks. He doesn't have a care to the world and to him, stealing and robbing isn't a bad thing. However, Dally can be very different as well. His friends can count on him and always feel protected when he is around. He helps them without even worrying about himself. He puts his own life at risk and sacrifices everything for their protection. When Ponyboy and Johnny come to him for help he gives Ponyboy his jacket off his own back and gives them everything that they need. He supports them and coaxes them to do what he says to stay safe. Also when Johnny was telling Ponyboy about when Dally took the blame for what Two-bit had done to the school windows, you can tell that Dally really cares about his friends. Dally is a true hero and has a very soft heart, but from his looks and behaviour, you would never know that.
The reporters and the police interview Pony in the hospital while he, Darry, and Soda wait for news of Dally and Johnny. Finally, the doctor tells them that Dally's arm is badly burned and will remain scarred for life. Johnny, on the other hand, is in a critical condition; he is in severe shock, suffers from third degree burns, and has a broken back. If he lives, he will be crippled for life. Since there is nothing that they can do, Pony, Darry, and Soda return home. The next morning Two-Bit and Steve show Pony the newspaper. There are articles on what had happened the night Johnny killed Bob and on how Johnny and Pony had rescued the children from the burning church. One of the parents has stated that the children would have been killed if it had not been for Johnny and Pony. Cherry, in an interview, confirmed that Bob was drunk on the night of his murder; Randy Adderson added that the Socs caused the fight and that Pony and Johnny had fought back in self-defense. As a result of these confessions, Johnny was only being charged with manslaughter. The newspaper also featured a story about Pony and his two brothers, mentioning that Pony was a very good student and explaining how Darry worked two jobs to support his brothers. The article ended with the comment that the three of them should not be separated. The article makes Pony realize that he is in danger of being taken away from Darry and sent to a boy's home. Two-Bit and Pony go out for a walk. They notice that a blue Mustang is following them; it is the same one that followed Pony and Johnny. When the boys stop to buy cokes, the car comes to a halt near them, and several Socs emerge. Randy Adderson takes Pony aside and tells him that he admires him for saving the children and that he did not know that a Greaser could be so heroic. He admits that he might not have been as brave if he had been in the same situation. Randy adds that he is tired of the violence, but knows that he will be "marked chicken" if he does not take part in the rumble, still planned for later in the evening. After the conversation, Pony decides that "Socs were just guys."
