Why does Jason hate Freddy?

Because when he drowned, his mother held the counslers personally responsible for not watching him. When she is killed after seeking revenge, he returns to go on a killing spree. He continues to kill for different opinions from people.

Jason was just a poor little boy who drowned and the councellors were making love while he drowned and his mum killed them. Mrs voorhees kills anyone who goes into camp crystal lake. Then a woman beheaded Mrs voorhees and jason killed the woman and took place of his mother because the only person who EVER loved him and cared for him and now he is heartbroken for ever until he is officially dead and never comes alive again.

Jason fought Freddy for survival. Freddy manipulated Jason to strike fear in to the people of Springwood Ohio. When Jason wouldn't stop killing Freddy tried to kill him and so Jason fought back for self preservation.
