well, shifu found tai lung as a child and raised him up. when the cub showed intrest in kung fu, he taught him how but as he got older he grew more evil, and shifu had no idea. but master oogway new that he was evil and stopped him having the dragon scroll. so tai lung toke it by force and lade waste to the valley of peace. shifu had to stop what he had created but how could he? so they put him in porison
