Well. For all you people doing projects right now. I'm sory. this is all i have .

Giovanni Da Verrazano was an Italian explorer, born in 1485. His reason of exploration was because the King of France wanted to claim new land. Giovanni also wanted to find a northwestern sea passage to China and to capture Spanish ships. In he sailed for France and settled in Rhode Island. In 1528, sailing from France, he explored the West Indies, where he was killed by the natives. PLEASE dont use this. its for taking notes ONLY.

. He had 4 ships, 2 of them were shipwrecked, but luckily 1 survived and it was sent back carrying prizes such as gold, silver, and spices. He sailed south until he reached Carolina. Verrazano was the first European to enter New York Harbor.

He was a French Nobleman and explorer. The name translates as Robert of the Hall, or as we would Americanize it in more compact language, Robert Hall. He is popularily considered the founder of Detroit ( as a French colony) The La Salle automobile, a sort of bargain Cadillac, is named in his honor. I understand the late but in a way ( part of the language) clothes store chain Robert Hall originated in Detroit, and may have also paid homage to the explorer, but Americanized! not a b ad thing.
