Thanks for this question! I worked this out, everybody likes better where they live, so for me UK for prices, weather Canada... best history is UK, we created the English language and we usually spell the words correctly, so I would probably say UK, but, as you see, it is my opinion, why not use your own opinion. Or look on wikepedia, at UK and then Canada.
My opinion is that the UK is as good as Canada. But the area of the UK that is better than Canada is England. Canada does NOT have better weather than UK, it is cold and wet as the UK.
Yes Canada and Russia are much colder than the UK but the reason why is not because it is. The reason why is that usually the northern parts of the world are the coldest except for Antarctica ( of course coldest place in the world). And if you look at a map of the world Russia and Canada are northern then the UK. Mostly what are the coldest placest in the world are Canada, Russia, Sweden, Antarctica , Norway, Iceland and Greenland with Alaska are the coldest place. So there for this is why Canada and Russia are colder than the UK because it is northern and we get more colder weather than the UK. ( I know this because i am Canadian.
because the plane is going the other way around earth which is longer than going from UK to Canada that from Canada to UK
No it is not true. Sweden, Finland, Russia, USA, Canada, UK, Japan, ... etc are north industrial countries.

The UK is next to the Atlantic Ocean. The Atlantic Ocean has currents that bring in warm air, heating up northern Europe. Canada and Russia are not affected by these currents.
it is not fair why is russia cold and bigger than the uk
The area of the UK is smaller than Russia, Canada, the United States, Australia, or Greenland, among others.
Colder than England, but Scotland is having more colds

Russia, UK, USA, Canada, Australia
The Gulf Stream carries warm water from the Gulf of Mexico to the UK, helping to moderate its climate. If it stopped flowing, the UK would lose this source of warmth and experience colder temperatures as a result. This could lead to harsher winters and overall colder conditions in the region.
