Well, Justin was about to win the competition when he told everyone the truth. Alex was just about to cross the finish line when Justin got his foot stuck in a tree root and Alex saw him and stopped to help him. After Professor Crumbs heard the story, he made Alex a full wizard. Professor Crumbs later said that he was retiring as headmaster of WizTech and told Justin to take his place, so he made Justin a full wizard, too. Later, Jerry gave the sub shop to Max, so everyone was happy.
The wizard competition on Wizards of Waverly Place was actually won by Justin. However, as Justin was about to receive his full powers, he confessed that while going through the maze at the end, his foot got caught in a tree branch and Alex came back to help him. Justin goes on to say that if Alex had not came back to help him, she would have won. Eventually, Alex is given the full powers. Justin is also given powers because he becomes the headmaster of WizTech after Professor Crumbs retires.
well i got told at my school that the winner of the wizard was alex but justin triend to ake the descion deferent but he got caught and the internet is sayings that justin won and others say max
justin and alex become wizards because,justin wins but gives his powers to alex.
