Well, for one, Mantle was the American League Most Valuable Player in 1962 (he won the award twice before in the 1950s.) He also led the AL in Home Runs in 1960 with 40, he also hit 54 homers in '61, the year Roger Maris hit 61. He also led the A. L. in runs scored in 1960 and '61 and in base on balls in 1961 and '62. And he also led the A. L. in being struck out in 1960, after having that same distinction in 1958 and '59. By the way, Mantle's Yankees team won the A. L. pennant five times in the 1960 and captured two World Series in 1961 and '62. Mantle was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1977
I played this part once. In the beginning of the show when Bloody Mary is trying to hawk her goods to the men Quale says, "That's some fine merchandise" or something like that. In another scene he enters the commanders office with a package ready to for the commander to send. He reads off the address. (Quale is like the secretary to the commander). At the very end Quale is yelling out directions to the various units departing the base. Quale is a lot like Radar O'Reilly in M.A.S.H.

1960 - 1961 Colored Base Series were the very first dolls issued, and included only 12 Major Leagues teams. Each doll sits on a different color base- the Major League teams do not have the cities decal on the base. Unlike future baseball series, there were only 2 mascot head dolls in this set (Baltimore Orioles & the Pittsburgh Pirates). The Chicago Cubs Blue base, boy face doll is worth about $350. -$450. in near/mint -mint conditionThe 1961- 1963 White base series of major league baseball bobbing heads included examples from 20 different franchises with several significant variations. The series included nine dolls featuring mascot heads including the Chicago Cubs. The Cubs mascot doll is worth about $400.-$500. in near/mint -mint conditionGreen Round Base series was issued from 1963- 1965 (some are marked 1962 on the bottom of the base, but they were not released until 1963). Be careful not to confuse this series with the newer 1980's issued dolls that also have a green base. The Chicago Cubs mascot doll is worth about $450.-$500. in near/mint -mint condition.1966 - 1971 Gold Base Series was the last set issued in the 60's. The Chicago Cubs mascot head is worth about $225. -$275 in near/mint -mint condition.Condition is important. Cracks, chips, color fading, yellowing, worn decals, and paint flaking will bring the value down significantly. For more information on vintage 1960's bobble heads see Related Links below.

The average annual salary for a veterinarian in the United States is ~US$90,000. A veterinarian in Topeka can expect to earn about the national average given experience, a good clinic and an established client base.
Commander is a base word. Command is the base word- er is the suffix. A base word can stand alone and has meaning. A root word is a basic word with no prefix or suffix Added to it.
If it is not dictated by a higher headquarters, then I would say it is up to the Brigade Commander. The Rear Detachment Commander would have to be authorized with sufficient UCMJ authority. Maybe a Lt. Col or Major. If the Brigade Commander was also the local Garrison/Base Commander, then that may complicate the matter, unless the Brigade Commander has a standing Deputy Commander for Base Operations.
