Watch out this is a huge spoiler.I think that the movie allows the audience to choose.Most people say that he was crazy,I will agree but I will tell you some scenes of the film which may make you think differently.First scene:they have arrived at shutter island and they need to give their guns why,Chuck found it difficult to take it out , a real cop could do it for fun.And another scene:why the crazy woman asked for some water so that Chuck couldn't see that she wrote him RUN maybe because she knew it was a doctor.I don't know the movie was really confusing.You just don't understand when it's real and when fake.I will see the movie again for more clues!!!
