Oh, dude, Barbara Hale was making some serious cash back in the day. She was raking in around $3,000 per episode of Perry Mason. Can you imagine getting paid that much just to pretend to be a lawyer on TV? Like, sign me up!
I don't think Perry Mason had a daughter at all
In the Perry Mason books by Erle Stanley Gardner, Perry Mason and Della Street have a close professional relationship as attorney and secretary. While their dynamic suggests a deep emotional connection, their romantic involvement is left ambiguous and open to interpretation.
Perry Mason's secretary is Della Street. She is known for being intelligent, loyal, and efficient in assisting Perry Mason with his legal cases.

Della Street - Oodles!
Never In one Perry Mason story, Della poses as somebody with the initials DM and has these initials put on her luggage. At the end of the story, Perry points out that the initials could stand for Della Mason and says that it would be a pity to waste the baggage. Della shrugs off this suggestion, and Perry agrees that it is probably not a good idea. I'm not sure as I only recently started reading the series. However, I know that in the book The Case of the Deadly Toy, he asked her to POSE as his wife. Also, in regard to the movies, visit the link below. Perry Mason has proposed to Della many times. for example, in the case of the drowsy mosquito, one-eyed witness, lame canary, substitute face, rolling bones, and in many other books too

Raymond Burr
Yes, several times but Della turns him down. Not because she doesn't love him but because she doesn't want to be just a housewife. Do to society at the time Perry Mason was written, a wife was EXPECTED to stay home, run the household and raise kids, nothing more. Della liked her life as Perry's private secretary and constant companion.. Della's answers to the proposals are usually something like "we're happy now, You don't need a wife and I don't want you getting a new secretary."
