Taka is a semi-official version of the character Scar, approved into a few books, but not approved by Scar's creators. Taka wasn't made by Disney but was approved by the company to the book universe only. Taka exists in a series of books called The Lion King: Six New Adventures, but there are other just as official books that contradict those books, and on the commentary track of the film, Scar's creators as in the film makers, have denied Taka by denying the Six New Adventures' books' main character Kopa. That's why it's nothing more or less but a semi-official version of Scar.
Taka is not in The Lion King. Taka is a birth name for Scar, made up by an outsider and the books he was written in were approved by Disney's marketting device. Scar's official/canon birth name remains unknown. Therefore no one knows who hit Scar in The Lion King, but Taka in the few profit fanfiction books ("Six New Adventures") got his scar from a water buffalo's horn when a herd of them was chasing him.
