Kushina Uzumaki is Naruto's mother. It is said by Tsunade that most of Naruto's personality as well as his choice of jutsus are similar to that of his mother. I believe that madara pushed kushia over the edge and got her to transform into the nine tailed fox and then she lost control. Marada then took control of her and sent her to attack the leaf. then the 4th sealed the fox into Naruto where kushina is in the fox aswell so in the end Naruto has 4 different chakras in him.
