Elizabeth Hitchins is a recurring villain on the Law and Order CI series. She's played by Olivia d'Abo and appeared in the series five times.
The character, Elizabeth Hitchins, is a sociopath and a con-woman who came from Australia after the death of her daughter (Goren believes that she killed the child). She is Detective Goren's 'Dr. Moriarty' and through five episodes she manages to slip through his fingers. In her fifth episode she murders Goren's brother, Frank, and is in turn, murdered by Declan Gage, a former friend and colleague of Goren (I never did quite understand that connection), who sends Nicole's heart to Goren as a gift.
