Beyond Birthday is one of the characters you don't find out much in the actual Manga or Anime. Let's go from the beginning :D
Beyond Birthday was born with the eyes of a Shinigami, so he could see peoples names and life spans. He was taken into Wammy House, but the pressure was too great for him so he ran away.
BB (Beyond Birthday) wanted to give L a case he couldn't solve. He became obsessed with the detective and began to change his appearance to suit L's.
You can find out more in: Death Note: Another Note: The Los Angeles BB Case

"B" is Beyond Birthday. He is not mentioned in the anime nor the manga. He is mentioned in the book "Death Note; Another Note." Also: B, BB, Beyond Birthday or Backup is the serial killer from the Death Note novel by Nisiosin. In it, BB attempts to create a case that L cannot solve and become the "Master Criminal" worthy to L. More information can be found here:http://deathnote.wikia.com/wiki/Beyond_Birthday
Beyond Birthday (aka BB) is a maniacal killer who is not in the original Death Note. He is introduced in Death Note: Another Note, the Los Angeles BB Murder Cases (a prequel to Death Note) as the head antagonist. His true appearance is unknown, as he cosplays as L. His personality is quite the opposite of L's, however; BB's goal is to become the world's best criminal or, more specifically, to devise a plan that L cannot solve. BB was born half-shinigami. He did not have to make the 'eye deal', unlike Misa Amane and Soichoro Yagami of the Death Note series. Like Wammy children, who seem to have certain quirks, BB's quirk is his love for jam. I'm guessing it adds to the 'blood-like' creepiness?
Death Note. The Death Note manga is better then the anime.
There are 37 episodes in the complete Death Note anime.

Mihael Keehl (Mello), Beyond Birthday, Mail Jeevas (Matt), Nate River (Near), Lawliet Ryuzaki (L)
I like both but.... Bleach would win if the characters fought, unless Misa, Mikami, Rem and Ryuk wrote super fast (not Light because he didn't make the eye deal ^^') If you mean, who would win in which is better, I say Death Note! Death Note FTW! Beyond Birthday, Matt, and Mello forever <3
L was born on the 31st 1979
I think you mean Ryuuzaki. Ryuuzaki is L's fake name during the kira case. It was also the fake name Beyond birthday presented himself with.hint hint.
Beyond Birthday is a criminal in a book called "Deathnote: Another Note". This book is about the case were Naomi Misora and L work together. If you want to know more just ask a more detailed question.
You make a deal with a shinigami giving up half your remaining lifespan. Beyond Birthday (from Death Note: Another Note The Los Angelas BB Murder Cases) is the only known person to be born with Shinigami eyes, an extremely rare exception.
29 The answer is NOT 29. Beyond Birthday's birthdate is UNKNOWN. It is ASSUMED that he is no more than 5 years younger than L, making his age at death near 21 to 22. In most fanart, he is depicted at this age.
