Well pay close attention i think you should use it on an ancient Pokemon not just ordinary Pokemon because ordinary Pokemon can be caught with an ultra ball But if you ask me when you come across a Pokemon that you want and LOVE and it cant be caught with an ultra ball use an masterball !!!!!! I did the same thing and it tottally worked i caught a azelf with my master ball and i caught a uxie with an ultra ball ( SIMPLE MAKE IT WEAK) and ive been trying to catch mesprit since but takes a while!!
