Where do you get spirit gems in Kingdom Hearts?

1. In order to get the Thunder Gems, you need to go to Atlantica and defeat either the Screwdriver (the little green guys with spears) or the Aqua Tank (the big fish that the Screwdrivers carry around). The drop rate of the Thunder Gem is extremely low, so make sure to have Lucky Strike equipped to improve your chances of getting it.

2. Since the enemies in any given screen repopulate every time you move two screen away from there, the most effective way I've found to gather Thunder Gems is to start in Triton's Throne, move to Triton's Palace, then to the Undersea Gorge. After that you can go to any other screen to repopulate the enemies in Triton's Palace and start the whole thing over again.

For Kingdom Hearts, they are located: -Sea Neon (Atlantica: Undersea Gorge, Triton's Palace)

-White Mushroom (after third Blizzard spell) For Kingdom Hearts II, they are located: -Fortuneteller: They will appear in Agrabah throughout the game. When you're looking for them later, check the Cave of Wonders Entrance, the Valley of Stone, the Chasm of Challenges, and the Treasure Room. (Recommended)

-Icy Cube: Although the drop rate is a bit lower, you'll encounter these guys anyway while hunting Fortunetellers. You'll find them in the Cave of Wonders Entrance and the Chasm of Challenges. (Also recommended)

- Purchase at a Moogle Shop for 400 munny after turning in 20 of them.

here's what you do.

fly on the gummi ship and go to deep jungle.

land in the jungle: tunnel.

do that jungle slider game and go through all 5 levels. (look for when the track splits off. if it doesn't split off, then you need to collect all the fruits and do it again.) Then you will end up in the waterfall cavern.

go all the way back to the camp and you will find 3 white mushrooms. wait for them to put the light over their head and then use thunder on them 3 times.

(sometimes thunder gems won't show up but just keep trying)
