I know that if you expose the diamond to extreme heat it can enhance the natural color, but not to such an extreme degree as to remove the brown from a diamond and convert it to a colorless diamond. Usually brown diamonds are formed when minerals or elements get trapped within the diamond's chemical structure creating a tint. This is impossible to change. Diamond clarity, however, can be enhanced by using a laser.
